Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In Sunan al-Nasa’i, the wording of this narration is as follows: ((Jihad for the elderly, the young, the weak, and women is Hajj and ‘Umrah.)) In this, the words “if he said it” (إِنْ كَانَ قَالَهُ) are not present. An important hadith related to this subject is as follows:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri and Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radi Allahu anhuma) that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:

((Indeed Allah says: Verily, a servant whose body I have kept healthy, and whose livelihood I have expanded, yet five years pass over him and he does not come to Me (for Hajj), then such a person is truly deprived.)) (Bayhaqi 5/262, Ibn Hibban: 960, Sahihah: 1662)

“Allah, the Exalted, says: I kept a servant’s body healthy, I expanded his means of living, but five years passed in this state and he did not come to Me; such a person is deprived.”
