Narrated by Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Hajj is the jihad of every weak person.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha radi Allahu anha, she says: I said, “O Messenger of Allah! Is jihad obligatory upon women?” He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied: ((Yes, jihad is obligatory upon them, but there is no fighting in it, and that is Hajj and Umrah.)) … “Yes, it is obligatory upon them, but there is no fighting in it, and that is Hajj and Umrah.” (Sunan Ibn Majah: 2901)

Sayyidah Aisha radi Allahu anha said: O Messenger of Allah! We see that the most virtuous deed is jihad, so should we not also perform jihad? He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam replied: ((No, but the most virtuous jihad for you is an accepted Hajj (Hajj mabroor).)) … “No, the most virtuous jihad for you is an accepted Hajj.” (Sahih Bukhari: 1520) The meaning of this hadith is that, just like jihad, in the journey of Hajj and Umrah there are hardships, effort, fatigue, carrying provisions with oneself, and being separated from one’s locality and relatives; the difference is that there is no fighting in it.
