It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked: When is the Night of Qadr? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Does anyone among you remember which night was the one with the reddish clouds? Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: May my parents be sacrificed for you, I remember, on that night at the time of suhoor I was eating dates in my hand and, out of fear of the dawn, I was hiding behind the saddle, while at that time the moon had already risen.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … "Sahba’" is the name of a place near Khaybar. In Sunan al-Bayhaqi and Qamus, etc., the name of this place is mentioned in the singular form, whereas in this hadith the plural form is used. It is possible that this location is referred to both as "Sahba’" and "Sahbawat." By asking about the night of Sahbawat, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam intended to make the questioner understand that it was a night of value (qadr), because on that very night, at that time, the moon rises.
