Hadith 4026

عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فِي وِتْرٍ، فَإِنِّي قَدْ رَأَيْتُهَا فَنُسِّيتُهَا وَهِيَ لَيْلَةُ مَطَرٍ وَرِيحٍ أَوْ قَالَ: قَطْرٍ وَرِيحٍ))
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Seek the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan. I did see that night, but then I was made to forget it. (This time) it will be a night with rain and wind.
