بَابُ لَا تَصُومُ الْمَرْأَةُ تَطَوُّعًا وَزَوْجُهَا حَاضِرٌ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِChapter: A Woman Should Not Fast Voluntarily While Her Husband Is Present Without His Permission
Hadith 3894

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((لَا تَصُمِ الْمَرْأَةُ يَوْمًا وَاحِدًا وَزَوْجُهَا شَاهِدٌ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ، إِلَّا رَمَضَانَ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a woman's husband is present, she should not fast even a single day without his permission, except in the month of Ramadan.
