فَصْلٌ مِنْهُ فِي حُجَّةِ مَنْ رَأَى أَفْضَلِيَّةَ الْفِطْرِ فِي السَّفَرِSection: On the Evidence of Those Who Consider Breaking the Fast While Traveling Superior
Hadith 3836

((وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) بِنَحْوِهِ وَزَادَ) فَدَعَاهُ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُفْطِرَ فَقَالَ: ((أَمَا يَكْفِيكَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى تَصُومَ))
. (Second chain) The same hadith is narrated, however, with these additional words: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, called that man, ordered him to break his fast, and said to him: Is it not enough for you that you have set out in the way of Allah with the Messenger of Allah, and yet you are also keeping a fast?
