Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him), who says: We took suhoor with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), after which we went to the mosque and the iqamah for prayer was given there. I asked Sayyiduna Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him): How much time was there between these two actions? He said: As much as it takes a man to recite fifty verses.
