Hadith 3668

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((رَغِمَ أَنْفُ رَجُلٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ رَمَضَانُ فَانْسَلَخَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُغْفَرَ لَهُ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May the nose of that person be rubbed in dust who found the month of Ramadan, but this month passed before he was forgiven.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The blessed month of Ramadan is characterized by numerous means of Allah Ta’ala’s forgiveness, but the person who, even in this sacred month, is unable to gather these means, is indeed deserving that the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) supplicate against him.
