((وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) بِنَحْوِهِ وَفِيهِ:) وَلَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمَعَ النَّاسَ عَلَى الْقِيَامِ
(Second chain) It states: While the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) himself did not gather the people for standing (in prayer).
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The regular arrangement of congregational prayer for the standing (qiyam) of Ramadan was initiated by Sayyiduna Umar radi Allahu anhu.
