Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In the ahadith of these two chapters, all the rights of the servants (huquq al-‘ibad) that have been mentioned—at present, the Muslim Ummah is severely heedless regarding the fulfillment of these rights. In fact, it should be said that people have no awareness at all of the rights of those among Allah’s creation who are lesser than themselves. Those who travel in cars worth two or four million have no room in their minds for the thought of which poor person is in need of a bicycle, etc. To even speak of motorcycles and rickshaws is pointless. Whose children have to walk long distances on foot to acquire education? In which homes are children wasting their time in the streets and neighborhoods because they cannot afford school fees and educational expenses? In fact, for the future, these children are also a great sign of danger for the prosperous people. Whether anyone admits it or not, people have come to regard a few acts of worship, according to their own understanding, as the true Islam. In this matter, their minds are seized by rigidity; they are not willing to bring any change to their habits. But those people about whom these remarks are being presented are, from the outset, not even prepared to accept them, because until we understand what Islam actually demands from us, we will, in our own estimation, consider ourselves complete Muslims and will regard the above-mentioned facts as baseless.
