بَابٌ فِي قَوْلِهِ ﷺ لَتَتَّبِعُنَّ سُنَنَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْChapter on his ﷺ saying: "You will surely follow the ways of those before you"
Hadith 347

عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ! لَتَرْكَبُنَّ سُنَنَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “By Him in Whose hand is my soul! You will surely follow the ways of those before you exactly.”
