Hadith 3468

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever anything was asked from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the name of Islam, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would give it. One day a man came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him for something. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him so many goats as charity that they filled the valley between two mountains. When he returned to his people, he said: O my people! Accept Islam, for indeed Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) gives with such generosity that he has no fear of poverty.
