عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ((الْعَامِلُ فِي الصَّدَقَةِ بِالْحَقِّ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كَالْغَازِي فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ))
Narrated from Sayyiduna Rafi’ bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who collects charity for the sake of Allah’s pleasure is like one who fights in the way of Allah, until he returns home.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In this blessed hadith, the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is praising such a worker, and in the present era, there is a scarcity of such people. Many employees, with regard to their own rights, are either heedless of the rulings of Shariah or are unjust to themselves and their children.
