Hadith 3350

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَعَنَ زَوَّارَاتِ الْقُبُورِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed women who frequently visit graves.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Although some scholars, in light of the aforementioned ahadith, have stated that it is an un-Islamic act for women to visit graveyards, it is evident from all the ahadith of this chapter that women, like men, may also visit graves. The aforementioned ahadith were stated by the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam at a time when visiting graveyards in general was prohibited. The proofs for this claim are as follows:
