Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: In the Battle of Uhud, my father was martyred. My sisters gave me a camel and said: Go and bring our father's body on this camel and bury him in the graveyard of Banu Salamah. So I and my helper went, but when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came to know of this, while he was sitting at Uhud, he called me and said: By the One in Whose hand is my soul! He will be buried with his (martyred) brothers. Thus, he was buried with his companions.
