Hadith 3330

It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Surely, there is a squeezing in the grave, and if anyone could have been saved from it, it would have been Sa’d bin Mu’adh.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The reason for this is that even righteous people are affected by some sin in one way or another; as a recompense for this, they are subjected to the constriction of the grave. Then, mercy overtakes them, just as in the case of Sayyiduna Sa'd ibn Mu'adh radi Allahu anhu, who experienced the squeezing of the grave.
