فَصْلٌ ثَالِثٌ فِي عَذَابِ عُصَاةِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي الْقَبْرِ وَمَا يُخَفِّفُهُ عَنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُ أَكْثَرُهُ بِسَبَبِ التَّبَوُّلُThird section on the punishment of sinful believers in the grave, what lessens it for them, and that most of it is due to urine
Hadith 3328

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ: كُنْتُ جَالِسًا مَعَ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ عُرْفُطَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: فَذَكَرَا رَجُلًا مَاتَ مِنْ بَطْنِهِ، قَالَ: فَكَأَنَّمَا اشْتَهَى أَنْ يُصَلِّيَا عَلَيْهِ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِلْآخَرِ: أَلَمْ يَقُلِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَنْ قَتَلَهُ بَطْنُهُ فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يُعَذَّبَ فِي قَبْرِهِ؟))، قَالَ الْآخَرُ: بَلَى
Abdullah bin Yasar says: I was sitting with Sayyiduna Sulaiman bin Surad and Sayyiduna Khalid bin 'Urfatah (may Allah be pleased with them). People informed that a certain man had died due to a stomach illness. They wanted to perform his funeral prayer, and one said to the other: Did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) not say that whoever dies due to a stomach illness will never be punished in the grave? The other replied: Yes, he did say that.
