It is narrated from Sayyiduna Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any Muslim man or woman is afflicted with a calamity, and then later remembers it and again recites "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un," even if a long time has passed since that distress, Allah Almighty renews for him the reward and grants him as much reward as was given on the day of the calamity.
