Isma'il Sadi says: I asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had performed the funeral prayer for his son Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him)? He said, I do not know. May Allah's mercy be upon Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him); if he had lived, he would have been a truthful prophet.
