It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer for his son Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), who passed away at the age of sixteen months. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said regarding him that there are (women) in Paradise who will complete his nursing, (this is my son) a Siddiq (truthful one).

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The son of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, Sayyiduna Ibrahim radi Allahu anhu, passed away at the age of eighteen months. According to the authentic narration, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not perform his funeral prayer (salat al-janazah). All those narrations in which it is mentioned that he performed the funeral prayer over him are weak in terms of their chain of transmission.
