Hadith 3047

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) بِلَفْظِ: ((لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَطَمَ الْخُدُودَ، أَوْ شَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ، أَوْ دَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ))
(Second chain) Whoever slaps the cheeks, tears the collar, or calls out with the call of ignorance, is not from among us.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … “He is not from us.” This means that he is not upon the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam or upon the complete religion; it does not mean that he has exited from the religion.
