It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came to her and went straight to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was wrapped in a striped Yemeni sheet. He (Abu Bakr) removed the cloth from the blessed face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then leaned over him, kissed him, and began to weep. Then he said: "May my parents be sacrificed for you! By Allah, Allah will never combine two deaths upon you. The death that was decreed for you has come upon you."
