Brief Explanation
Benefit: … It is generally observed that every Muslim ultimately benefits from life in the form of an increase in good deeds and a decrease in evil deeds. I have observed the lives of thousands of people that, after a period of extremely immoral behavior and indulgence, they are granted the opportunity to turn towards Allah; the Sunnah marked by white hairs becomes visible on their faces, their minds change, gentleness enters their character, and at times they are even blessed with the opportunity to perform Hajj and Umrah. And so on and so forth. Nevertheless, a few people can also be seen who suffer loss from their lives in such a way that in the earlier part of their lives they have a tendency towards righteousness, but in the latter part, towards evil, and day by day, by neglecting obligatory acts and duties and committing forbidden (haram) acts, they become indebted to Allah and His servants. However, judgments regarding benefit or loss are made by observing the majority, not by a few individuals.
