It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umair (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave of Abi al-Lahm, that he said: He saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) praying for rain near the place of Zawra, by Ahjaz al-Zayt. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was standing and supplicating, with his palms raised, but they were not raised above his head. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had the inner sides of his palms facing his face.
