Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed a prayer at the time of a solar eclipse similar to your (regular) prayer, in which he also performed bowing (ruku’) and prostration (sajdah).
