عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ) قَالَ: كُنَّا نَرَى الْآيَاتِ فِي زَمَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَرَكَاتٍ وَأَنْتُمْ تَرَوْنَهَا تَخْوِيفًا
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: In the time of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to regard certain signs as a source of blessing, whereas you consider them as a source of fear or intimidation.
