Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came to me while two girls were beating the duff. These were the days of Mina. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a cloth wrapped around him. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) scolded them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) removed the cloth from his face and said: "Abu Bakr! Leave them, these are the days of Eid." Then Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he would shield me with his cloak and I would keep watching the Abyssinians playing in the mosque, until I myself would get tired and sit down. You people should realize the status and position of a young and eager girl.
