بَابُ خُطْبَةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ وَأَحْكَامِهَا وَوَعْظِ النِّسَاءِ وَحَثِّهِنَّ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِChapter on the Eid sermon, its rulings, exhorting women, and encouraging them to give charity
Hadith 2869

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ: ثُمَّ شَهِدْتُّهُ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ فَصَلَّى قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْطُبَ بِلَا أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ، ثُمَّ خَطَبَ فَقَالَ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ! إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ نَهَى أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا نُسُكَكُمْ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ فَلَا تَأْكُلُوهَا بَعْدُ
(Second chain) Abu Ubaid says: Then I was present with Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, he performed the prayer before the sermon without adhan or iqamah, then delivered the sermon and said: O people! Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade you from eating the meat of sacrifice after three days, so do not eat it after that amount.
