بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الْأَكْلِ قَبْلَ الْخُرُوجِ فِي الْفِطْرِ دُونَ الْأَضْحَى - وَالْكَلَامِ عَلَى وَقْتِ الصَّلَاةُ فِيهِمَاChapter on the recommendation of eating before going out for Eid al-Fitr but not Eid al-Adha, and discussion on the time of prayer for both
Hadith 2840

((وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) بِنَحْوِهِ وَفِيهِ) وَلَا يَأْكُلُ يَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ فَيَأْكُلَ مِنْ أُضْحِيَّتِهِ
(Second chain) In this it is stated: On the day of Eid al-Adha, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not eat anything until he returned, then upon returning he would eat from the meat of his sacrifice.
