Sa’ib bin Yazid says: I performed the Friday prayer with Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) in the enclosure. When he finished the prayer with salam, I stood in my place and began to pray. When he (Muawiyah) entered (his house), he sent a message to me. When I arrived, he said: Do not do again what you have just done. Indeed, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has commanded that one should not join one prayer to another until one leaves that place or speaks to someone.
