Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah keep fresh the one who hears a hadith from us, then memorizes it, until he conveys it to others. Many are those to whom the hadith is conveyed who remember it better than those who heard it."
