((وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) بِنَحْوِهِ وَفِيهِ بَعْدَ قَوْلِهِ فَقَدْ كَذَبَ) قَالَ: وَلَٰكِنَّهُ رُبَّمَا خَرَجَ وَرَأَى النَّاسَ فِي قِلَّةٍ فَجَلَسَ ثُمَّ يَثُوبُونَ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا
(Second chain of narration) In this, after "he certainly lied," these words are present: But sometimes it would happen that you would come and see that the people were few, so you, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, would sit down, until people came into the mosque, then you, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, would stand up and deliver the sermon while standing.
