It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The knowledge through which the Face of Allah Almighty is sought—whoever learns it to acquire worldly goods, he will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Any matter that is purely an act of worship, such as the teaching of Qur’an and Hadith, charity and almsgiving (sadaqah wa khayrat), jihad, and other Islamic affairs, should not be pursued with any worldly objective in mind. This is an extremely delicate issue, and there are few people who truly comprehend its subtlety, whereas these matters demand utmost seriousness and contemplation.
