بَابُ فَضْلِ التَّبْكِيرِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْمَشْيِ لَهَا دُونَ الرُّكُوبِ وَالدُّنُوِّ مِنَ الْإِمَامِ وَالْأَنْصَاتِ لِلْخُطْبَةِ وَغَيْرِ ذَلِكَChapter on the virtue of going early to Friday, walking rather than riding, drawing near to the Imam, listening to the sermon, and other matters
Hadith 2767

عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ قَالَ: لَحِقَنِي عَبَايَةُ بْنُ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ وَأَنَا رَائِحٌ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ مَاشِيًا وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ، قَالَ: أَبْشِرْ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْسٍ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَرَّمَهُمَا اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى النَّارِ))
Yazid bin Abi Maryam says: I was walking towards the mosque for Friday prayer when Abayah bin Rafi met me while he was on a mount. He said: Rejoice! I heard Sayyiduna Abu Abs (may Allah be pleased with him) say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever's feet become dusty in the path of Allah, Allah will make them forbidden for the fire of Hell.
