Hadith 2698

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو (بْنِ الْعَاصِ) عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَوْ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا وَقَاهُ اللَّهُ فِتْنَةَ القَبْرِ))
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever among the Muslims dies on the day or night of Friday, Allah Almighty will protect him from the trial of the grave.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … "Imam al-Albani said: There are supporting narrations (shawahid) for this hadith from Sayyiduna Anas and Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah radi Allahu anhuma and others, therefore, on the basis of all its chains, this hadith is hasan (good) or sahih (authentic)." (Ahkam al-Jana'iz: p. 35)
