Abdullah bin Malik (Ibn Buhaina) (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man while the iqamah had been pronounced, and he was performing the two Sunnah rak'ahs of Fajr. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said something to him, but we could not understand it. When we finished the prayer, we surrounded that man and asked him: What did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say to you? He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: It is near that one of you begins to perform four rak'ahs for the Fajr prayer.
