When Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the state of bowing (ruku‘). He (Abu Bakrah) started the prayer and performed ruku‘ behind the row, and then walked forward to join the row. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who was the person who started ruku‘ first and then walked to join the row? Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: It was me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May Allah increase your eagerness, but do not do this again.
