A’mash says: I asked Ibrahim about the person who stands with the imam to pray. He said: He will stand on the left side of the imam. I said: Sumaiy Ziyad narrated to me from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made him stand on his right side. Then Ibrahim accepted this hadith.
