Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Indeed, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would stand in the first rak‘ah of the Zuhr prayer (by prolonging the standing) until no sound of footsteps could be heard.
