It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not prevent women from going to the mosques, but their homes are better for them. One of the sons of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar said: Why not, by Allah! We will certainly prevent them. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: Are you listening that I am narrating the hadith of the Messenger of Allah, and you are saying such words?
