It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No man should ever prevent his family members from coming to the mosques. One of the sons of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We will prevent them. Upon hearing this, Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I am narrating to you the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and you speak of preventing them. After that, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) did not speak to that son until his death.
