Hazrat Nafi’ says: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the call to prayer on a cold and windy night, and at the end of the adhan he said: Beware! Pray in your tents, beware! Pray in your tents, beware! Pray in your tents. Then he explained that when the night was cold or windy during travel, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would instruct the mu’adhdhin to also say: Beware! Pray in your tents.
