Abdullah bin Shaqiq says: One day, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) delivered a sermon to us after Asr, until the sun set and the stars began to appear. People started calling out: "Pray, pray." Among the people was a man from Banu Tamim, he also began to say: "Prayer, prayer." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) became angry and said: "Are you teaching me the Sunnah? I was present with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he combined and performed Zuhr and Asr, and Maghrib and Isha." Abdullah bin Shaqiq says: I began to feel (doubt and amazement) in my heart, so I met Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him about this issue, and he also agreed with him.
