It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you return (from a journey) at night, none of you should go to his family at night (rather, he should wait until morning). Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: By Allah! Later on, we started coming to them at night.
