It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you return from a journey at night, do not go to your family until the wife of the absent husband has used a razor (shaved the pubic hair) and the disheveled-haired woman has combed her hair. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Jabir: When you return home from a journey, adhere to wisdom, adhere to wisdom (that is, make sure to fulfill the rights of your wife).
