It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to return during the forenoon. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, he would begin with the mosque. Thus, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform two units of prayer therein, then sit there, and people would come to him and greet him with peace.
