Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would ascend a hill or a high place, he would say: "O Allah! To You belongs honor over every honor, and to You belongs praise over every praise." (According to the wording of one narration, he would say:) "And to You belongs praise in every circumstance." … O Allah! Honor and status on every high place is only for You, and (the real) praise on every kind of praise is only for You. And (according to one narration) in every circumstance, praise is only for You.
