It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Sarjis (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out on a journey, he would recite this supplication: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, from sorrow upon return, from loss after abundance, from the supplication of the oppressed, and from an evil sight in wealth and family." (O Allah! I seek Your protection from the difficulties of travel, from the grief of returning, from loss after increase, from the supplication of the oppressed, and from an evil sight in wealth and home.)
And when he (peace and blessings be upon him) returned, he would repeat these words, except that in the last sentence he would say: "and from an evil sight in family and wealth." (And in my family and wealth from an evil sight.) That is, in this the word "family" comes first (and "wealth" after it).
