It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whenever any Muslim sets out from his house with the intention of travel or any other task and recites this supplication: "Aamantu billah, i‘tasamtu billah, tawakkaltu ‘ala Allah, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah." … I have believed in Allah, held firmly to (His rope), and placed my trust in Allah; there is no power to avoid sin nor strength to do good except with Allah. Then he will be granted goodness and blessings in that path, and that path will be protected from its evil for him.
