بَابٌ فِي هَجْرِ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ بِالْقَدَرِ وَالتَّغْلِيظِ عَلَيْهِمْChapter on shunning those who deny predestination and the severity against them
Hadith 229

عَنْ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((لَا تُجَالِسُوا أَهْلَ الْقَدَرِ وَلَا تُفَاتِحُوهُمْ)) وَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَرَّةً: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Neither join the gatherings of the Qadariyyah (those who deny predestination), nor appoint them as rulers (or do not argue and debate with them)."
